Ten Years Moving London — One Van at a Time

London Moverz started in 2015 with a single van, a simple promise, and a base in Chiswick W4. Ali — the founder — had spent years working on removal crews across West London and seen first-hand what went wrong with larger companies: late arrivals, careless handling, surprise invoices, anonymous drivers you had never spoken to. He started London Moverz to do the opposite.

The promise was straightforward: turn up on time, handle every item as if it were your own, and charge honestly with no hidden extras. Silvester joined early on and has been a core part of the team ever since. Between them, Ali and Silvester have now carried out thousands of moves — and the approach has not changed since day one.

We are an owner-operated business, not a call-centre franchise. When you call or WhatsApp us, you reach Ali or Silvester directly — never a booking agent, never an anonymous dispatcher. The person who quotes your job is accountable for it. That accountability is why our Google reviews are consistently five-star, and why so much of our work today comes from repeat customers and personal referrals. Customers who used us for a flat move in 2016 are now calling us for their house removals. We have moved the same people four and five times.

Meet Ali & Silvester

Ali — Founder & Lead Driver

Ali founded London Moverz in 2015 after years working on removal crews across West and Central London. He drives, manages bookings, quotes every job personally and shows up on move day. When you WhatsApp or call London Moverz, you are speaking to Ali. He holds full public liability and goods-in-transit insurance, and carries a Certificate of Insurance for commercial building moves. He is the reason customers come back — and the reason they refer their friends.

Silvester — Co-Driver & Senior Team Member

Silvester has been with London Moverz since the early days and handles the heavy work with the same care and professionalism as Ali. He is the second person on most two-man jobs — house moves, office relocations, large furniture deliveries and anything requiring two sets of hands on a staircase. Customers regularly mention both names in their reviews, which says everything.

Our Equipment

Every van is loaded with professional moving blankets, ratchet straps, furniture dollies, sack trucks and corner protectors — all included as standard, not as paid extras. For piano moves we use specialist piano skids and board systems. For fragile and antique pieces we bring additional wrapping materials. For IKEA flat-packs we carry the full tool kit. The right equipment on every job is what lets us do the job properly.
