London Moverz charges £50/hr for 1 man + van and £65/hr for 2 men + van, with a 2-hour minimum. No fuel surcharges, no stair fees, no weekend premiums. For large houses we can provide a fixed-price quote.

A studio or one-bed flat typically takes 2–4 hours with 1 or 2 movers. A two or three-bed property usually takes 4–6 hours with 2 men. A larger four or five-bedroom house can take 6–10 hours. We give an honest time estimate specific to your property and volume when you book.

In Controlled Parking Zones — which covers most of inner London — a formal suspension from the local council is required. Allow at least 10 working days for most boroughs; Ealing accepts 3. We assess the parking situation for every booking and advise exactly what is needed and how to apply.

Yes. Yes — London Moverz is fully insured for public liability and goods in transit. All moves are covered from the moment we start loading to the moment the last item is placed at your new address. We can provide a Certificate of Insurance for premium apartment buildings that require it.

Yes. All London Moverz vans are ULEZ-compliant. You will never receive a surprise ULEZ charge on your invoice. We operate freely across the entire Greater London ULEZ zone including Central London, the North and South Circular areas, and all inner-city boroughs.

Either. Most customers pack their own boxes to keep costs down and we handle the heavy lifting, loading and transport. If you would rather not pack, we offer a full packing service — our team boxes everything safely with proper materials. We always disassemble and reassemble larger furniture as part of the move at no extra charge.

Three things make your move faster and cheaper: pack and label your boxes before we arrive, declutter so you are moving less, and sort out parking at both addresses (a bay suspension if there is no space near the door). Keep valuables, documents and essentials with you. Defrost the fridge the night before. The more ready you are on the day, the less time the move takes — and our hourly pricing means saved time is saved money.

Absolutely. We move everything from a single wardrobe to a full five-bedroom house. For smaller loads a 1 man + van at £50/hr is usually plenty; for a whole house we send 2 or more movers so it is done in one trip. If you only need a few items shifted, our man and van service may be the most cost-effective option.

We are owner-operated. The people who answer the phone are the people who turn up. We do not pass jobs to a network of self-employed drivers, which is why you get the same team and the same standard every time. For larger jobs needing a third or fourth pair of hands we use movers we have worked with for years, and we tell you in advance if that is the case.

You pick the slot and we arrive at the start of it, 7 days a week from 7am. We do not use four-hour arrival windows. For end-of-month and Saturday moves we strongly recommend a 7am or 8am start — roads are quieter, parking is easier and building lifts are free. If we are running late because of a genuine problem, you get a call, not silence.

We will not walk out, but understand what it costs you. Packing while we wait is charged at the same hourly rate as moving, and it is the single most common reason a job overruns its estimate. If you know you will not be ready, tell us when you book and we will either add packing hours to the quote or send the team later in the day.

Yes. A sofa, a fridge, a wardrobe, an eBay or Facebook Marketplace collection, an IKEA pickup — and if you need it today, our same day man and van covers it — all standard work for us. The 2-hour minimum applies, so a single-item move within West London costs £110 with 1 man + van. For anything heavy or awkward through a doorway, 2 men + van at £130 is the safer choice.
