Yes — all packing materials are included in our packing service quotes. This covers double-walled removal boxes in small, medium and large sizes, bubble wrap, packing paper, tissue paper, tape and dispensers, wardrobe boxes, and foam padding for art and mirrors. There are no surprise material charges added on the day.

Absolutely — partial packing is very common and often the best approach. Many customers pack most of their home themselves (books, clothes, general items) and book us for the kitchen, fragile items and any valuable or awkward pieces. This is usually the most cost-effective way to use a professional packing service.

Packing is most commonly done the day before the removal, so that on move day the van can be loaded straight away without waiting. For smaller volumes, packing and loading can be done on the same day. We schedule packing sessions to fit around your move date — just let us know your timeline when you book.

It depends on the size of your home and the volume of belongings. As a guide: a one-bedroom flat typically takes one packer around 3 to 4 hours. A two-bedroom flat usually requires 4 to 6 hours with one or two packers. A three-bedroom house can take a full day with a two-person packing team. We can usually complete the packing the day before your move, so everything is ready to load first thing in the morning.

We supply all materials as part of the service: heavy-duty double-wall cardboard boxes in multiple sizes, wardrobe boxes with hanging rails for clothes, acid-free tissue paper for delicate items, bubble wrap for glassware and ceramics, stretch wrap for furniture and upholstery, and packing tape. We do not use newspaper — ink transfers onto items. Everything is included in the hourly rate.

Yes. We regularly pack fine china, crystal glassware, artwork, mirrors, antiques and high-value electronics. Fragile items are individually wrapped in bubble wrap and acid-free tissue, placed in double-wall boxes with dividers, and labelled clearly as fragile. For artwork and mirrors, we use picture boxes or construct custom cardboard protection. We carry goods-in-transit insurance for every packing job.

You are welcome to be at home, but it is not essential. Many customers let us in, show us around, point out anything that needs special attention, and then leave us to it. We work systematically room by room, labelling every box with its contents and destination room. You will receive a complete inventory of what was packed and where it is going.
