We charge £50/hr for 1 man + van — suitable for lighter single items such as dining chairs, side tables, lamps or single bookcases — and £65/hr for 2 men + van, which is required for sofas, wardrobes, bed frames, large dining tables and anything heavy or bulky. The minimum booking is 2 hours. Additional time is billed in 30-minute increments.

An IKEA PAX wardrobe collection from Wembley with full assembly is usually 3 to 4 hours for 2 men — around £195 to £260. Yes — marketplace pickups are one of our most frequent furniture delivery jobs in London. We collect from any private seller address in London and deliver directly to your home, bringing protective moving blankets so the item arrives undamaged.

If the piece genuinely won't fit as-is, the options include: removing the door frame temporarily (we can do this cleanly, usually 10–15 minutes of careful work), lifting over a balcony or through a window (requires visual assessment), professional sofa splitting for large corner units, or disassembly of the item itself where the design permits. Yes — furniture removal and disposal is available as an add-on to any delivery job in London. We can collect your existing sofa, wardrobe, bed frame or other large item from your home at the same time as delivering the new piece, and take it for disposal, charitable donation or onward delivery to another address.

For charitable donation, we regularly work with London furniture charity collections including the British Heart Foundation and Emmaus. The item needs to be in reasonable condition. For disposal of items that cannot be donated, there is an additional charge. Ask when you enquire and we will factor it into the quote.
